The GFI Archiver Outlook Connector enables users to synchronize their Microsoft Outlook® folders with the data archived by GFI Archiver. Outlook Connector adds the folder GFI Archiver Mailbox in the Microsoft Outlook® folder list. A toolbar is displayed, showing the status of synchronization with the GFI Archiver server.
Note: The Outlook Add-in is only supported in Outlook Classic, not the new Outlook.
Note: Where the online Mail Archiver (https://mailarchiver.southessex.ac.uk/) allows you to access the previous 7 years messages, the Outlook add-in only loads the past 1 year of messages.
How to add the GFI Archiver Outlook Connecter
From your Start Menu, open the Software Center and browse or search under the Applications tab for 'GFI Archiver Outlook Connecter' and Install it.
In Outlook, go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings
In the Account Settings window, open the Data Files tab and click Add. Select GFI Archiver and click OK
It should now show within Outlook, below your other inboxes. It will need some time to sync messages.
